This Policy Session ‘European Geothermal Action Plan for energy security, affordability and competitiveness‘ is part of the official programme of the European Sustainable Energy Week, which is organized by the European Commission.
The European Commission will publish the Geothermal Action Plan in 2026. This session discusses how it can unlock geothermal deployment, mobilise investment, and strengthen energy security and decarbonisation.
