We are in the midst of a transition, one focused on renewable heating and cooling, energy security and the use of local resources. Many of the changes that this transition involves will be noticed in mega-cities and small towns alike, both serving as ecosystems for the shift in mindset, policy and technological deployment. With geothermal resources, heat pumps and the involvement of local communities, offering a glimpse of the future.
