On 19 November, the annual Forum CONNECT will take place at BernExpo on the theme ‘Geothermal energy for security of supply!’
Geopolitical uncertainties, the decarbonisation of Swiss society, and the varying availability of renewable energy sources are among the major challenges of our time. In this context and throughout the energy transition, geothermal energy plays a central role as a local, reliable, and continuously available source of energy. It can make a significant contribution to strengthening Switzerland’s energy security.
The forum will focus on practical solutions for decarbonising our cities, new developments in geothermal power generation, innovative thermal and energy storage solutions, and best practices of ground source heat pump systems.
