EGEC is hosting a LIVE webinar on Friday, 6 February 2026, starting at 11:00 CET. Participation is free of charge!

This webinar will be an opportunity to learn about the Guideline ‘Risk management during the drilling and testing phase of deep geothermal projects’ that was published in December 2025 by BVEG (German Association for Natural Gas, Petroleum and Geoenergy) in collaboration with DGMK (German Society for Sustainable Energy Carriers, Mobility and Carbon Cycles). This guideline is available in German and English.

This webinar is being organised as part of EGEC’s campaign to promote the simplification of permitting for geothermal projects. This campaign covers all geothermal technologies and aims to promote the adaptation of relevant legislation and the adoption of soft measures such as standards, codes and guidelines for the implementation of geothermal projects.
