In April 2020 the European Commission has launched an online public consultation process (questionnaire) that aims to outline the first Multiannual Work Programme of LIFE covering the period 2021-2024.
LIFE Programme is the only EU fund dedicated to the environment and climate. The next LIFE will be structured around four sub-programmes and for the first time it will also include a dedicated sub-programme on Clean Energy Transition.
Within the above-mentioned questionnaire, EGEC supported the procedure of having a two-step call for proposals. It also highlighted the additional measures that have to be included in the Clean Energy Transition sub-programme.
