The European Council and the European Parliament are debating the Governance regulation proposal from the European Commission, with notably the European Parliament to vote in Committee on December 7.

Ahead of this vote, EGEC joined associations representing other renewable energy sectors and the energy efficiency industry to call for a robust European post-2020 governance framework that guarantees the EU objectives are controlled and met. This notably entails linear trajectories, robust gap filling provisions.
